Recently, Liu Zhihai, Vice Chairman of the Haiyan County Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Zhang Haifeng, Director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Haiyan County CPPCC, Zheng Renjuan, Deputy Director of the same committee, along with heads of various departments including the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Civil Affairs Bureau, Federation of Trade Unions, and Disabled Persons' Federation, as well as CPPCC members, visited the Haiyan Social Welfare Center to investigate its construction. They also held a joint panel discussion at TKG to exchange views and discuss topics such as elderly care for the destitute.

During the meeting, the County Civil Affairs Bureau reported on the county-wide centralized support for destitute groups and the preparations for the social welfare center. Leaders and members of the CPPCC, along with government departments, communicated about the center's functional positioning, service standardization, and resource integration, offering suggestions and opinions. The discussion focused on challenges in construction and operation.

The main person in charge of TKG, as a CPPCC member of the county, has been actively fulfilling his duties and participating in politics and policy-making for many years.
